GTA SA on Windows 7 - guillaume - 07-03-2010
Hey,
I just installed Windows 7 on this PC, but when i open GTA SA than it had a wrong resolution, than i tried to install the new video drivers, but now GTA SA don't start at all.
I hope someone can help me.

Try removing "gta_sa.set" in "C:\Users\[Username]\My Documents\GTA San Andreas User Files\". Also try switching to a non-aero theme before starting San Andreas.

I can run GTA SA again, the only problem now is the resolution.

Whats your problem with the resolution? Does it support your native one? Or whats wrong with it? A bit more info would be great

Oh, sorry;
I got two black square's left & right in my screen and i got only 10FPS. (My resolution is 1600x800 and there is no resolution in GTA SA with 1600x800)
I got a ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3200, and I just downloaded the newest drivers here.

I had the same problem, try playing around with the video card settings.

I can't find the right settings.
Mabye I'm gona ask if he (The one who installed 7 in my PC) can put vista back on my PC, I don't really like 7.

i had the same thing, i installed the new ATI drivers and i coouldnt change my resolution....
i installed the previous drivers and everything worked...
btv try to run gtasa in windows 98 compatibility mode, helps by lots of crashes with windows 7

A dutch friend of me said that the newest drivers of ATI are bugged, so there is a high change that the problem is solved after I downgraded my drivers.

Should be able to add custom resolutions in the ATI software.
