Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit - Gaahl - 05-18-2010 I'm currently experiencing a problem with Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit edition: my system randomly reboots, with no blue screen or whatever. I tried to google for some help but nothing came up. Any ideas? Re: Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit - Cave - 05-18-2010 Go to Start > Right click Computer > Properties > Advanced System Settings > Advanced > Startup and Recovery > Settings > Tick "Write an event to the system log" and UNTICK "Automatically reboot". Post your stop code if the BSOD comes up. To view your system log, go to Start> Search for "event" > Click Event Viewer > go to Windows Logs and click System. Re: Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit - Gaahl - 05-18-2010 Thanks, that worked I'm not very good with win 7 cause I just bought it, this automatic error due reboot sucks badly
Re: Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit - Maka - 05-18-2010 I had an odd one once. For the first time ever, my pc suddenly had like an error. I had pressed the msn icon on my taskbar, and then suddenly my screen went black. It quickly showed a BSOD (I assume it was that, at least), and it counted down quickly and then rebooted my pc. No idea how it happened.. lol. No problems anymore so far, though. |
