Symphonic / Progressive Rock - SolidRock - 04-12-2010 This is one of my favorite music genres. If you guys/girls like it too, please post band/song/album in the genre Symphonic/Progressive Rock that you like the most. Or something that is special to you. Here's my favorite Symphonic Rock song. Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb Pink Floyd The Wall - Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb Re: Symphonic Rock - Maka - 04-12-2010 What about symphonic metal? Kamelot - Karma (Live) Kamelot. (note though, if I'm wrong then sorry, I'm not that much of a genre-wiz in Metal and such) Re: Symphonic Rock - SolidRock - 04-12-2010 It's a little wilder then I'm used to, but it's a great song Maka
Re: Symphonic / Progressive Rock - Maddolis - 04-13-2010 Pink Floyd are more psychedelic prog rock, whereas Kamelot are Symphonic Power metal. Re: Symphonic / Progressive Rock - Nater - 04-13-2010 The Alan Parsons Project?

Re: Symphonic / Progressive Rock - SolidRock - 04-14-2010 It's a mixture between very powerfull rockballads and symphonic rock. All the songs are instrumentally very good and coherent. Re: Symphonic / Progressive Rock - Carcass - 04-14-2010 I dont listen to alot of Symphonic stuff but symphonic black metal is alright sometimes: Abigail Williams - "Into the Ashes" Candlelight Records As for progressive rock I haven't really gotten into it yet. I mostly just listen to progressive metal which borrows alot from it anyway. Bands like Dream theater, between the buried and me, Cynic, some Tool, and Opeth is cool Re: Symphonic / Progressive Rock - Maddolis - 04-14-2010 Between the metalcore and me <<<< all those other bands. |
