Rich Vs. Poor - Mike - 12-10-2009 If you work for the rich, you will always be poor. If you work for the poor, you will become rich. This is a general rule of thumb (despite obvious special exceptions) that I have observed in capitalist societies. There are many examples that support this theory. Founders of WalMart, McDonalds and other international corporations work for the poor in the fact that they offer extremely low prices for 'life necessities' of industrialized nationals. Music artists work for the poor in that lots of poor people buy their music. Wealthy people sell stuff that poor people buy, and ends up getting a little bit of a lot of people's money. To the contrary, people who work for the rich (i.e. maids, employees of the large corporations listed above, and other jobs in which one is hired by wealthy bodies) for the most part don't become wealthy. These people only get a little of maybe one or two wealthy persons' money. So, the obvious path to wealth is to find a way to work for the poor. Create a service or product that is inexpensive and a lot of people will end up buying. Just a fleeting thought. ![]() ~mike Re: Rich Vs. Poor - Munch - 12-12-2009 Another example of this being true is people in the finance field. If you have a job in that career path, no matter what it is, you get great money, and you're usually working for the not-so-wealthy people. People in the finance field can earn 50k a year (Pounds from what I've seen, but maybe Dollars and Euro too) just for working at a bank. And the people them bankers generally provide services to are the poorer people in the world. Re: Rich Vs. Poor - Sean3 - 12-12-2009 hmmm, what about engineers at skyscrappers or expensive motels? you get paid pretty good becoming a architectual engineer, and work for companies that own and are ready to make expensive buildings, would they release cheap rent on the buildings they build? i dont think so Re: Rich Vs.
