Spawning in Jail! - Jay - 08-08-2007 As I am pretty sure you Guys are all aware of the bug Spawning In jail, Just incase, heres some info about it: Sometimes when You Join the server, The Previous Id that had broken a rule, got jailed and left, Causes Your Id to spawn in jail with some Extra Punishment! Sometimes this can be highly annoying, because Not only upon connecting you will loose your money, But there also sometimes isnt an admin online to unjail You! I suggest You Guys either fix this feature, By using a 0.2 Function known as "GetPlayerIp", Or remove it! Re: Spawning in Jail! - tomozj - 08-08-2007 I guess that's possible, but people have dynamic IPs... ![]() An addition won't hurt I guess. What do the management say? Re: Spawning in Jail! - Richard - 08-08-2007 There are also people leaving while jailed and come back, someones else takes their jail as they have their ID, don't forget that

And about the Dynanic Ips, I seriously doubt someone is going to mess around changing there ip just for an Unjail... Its possible, But meh! Still it would be better than the system we have now! Re: Spawning in Jail! - Badeend - 08-08-2007 At a disconnect the jailtime for the ID should be completely removed, but i'm sure that already happens. It must be somewhere deeper, i'll check it out. I won't go check any IPs for this, it's pretty useless imo. Re: Spawning in Jail! - tomozj - 08-08-2007 Yeah, if I am not mistaken the jail 'cache' is saved in the user's database file. Re: Spawning in Jail! - Peter - 08-17-2007 Aight, accepted, might be the cause, might not be the cause, either way, it's a bug. Noted under ticket numbero [trac=79] |
