CS 1.6 vs CSS - Dominator33 - 10-17-2009
Which one would you choose?
I prefer CS 1.6 above CSS, because the gameplay is better, and its harder, and you really have to play it alot to get some skills in it. You have to watch on many things, even with maps like fy_pool_day, you have to watch yourself on some points. CSS looks way better ofc, but its way easier to make kills. Well, i have that feeling, because even with spraying you can win. Maybe its just me, but CS 1.6 is more challenging.

CSS - its a bit "easier" for newbies, but all in all it has the same difficulty as cs 1.6. Then, CSS looks better, VAC2 gets updates more often and therefore there are a lot less cheaters around then in CS 1.6 (still too much tho). Then, CSS has a few nice modes that are a lot better, for example surfing. surfing in 1.6 just fails.
I have all Counter-Strike games, but the only one i play in multiplayer here and then is CSS - i play a lot cs 1.6 LAN with friends tho, but not online.

at the moment cs 1.6, because its kinda fun to play it after a long time and i just gotta love the way it looks
looks better than css. but css was funnier back in the day when it still was new to me

Nah that ain't true about the surfing part, surfing is too easy on CSS..
Not even funny anymore because everyone can do it and that ain't the case with 1.6..
And yeah the gameplay is a lot easier as well, your able to spray and still kill somebody without doing any effort..
