2.91 VIP Test - Jay - 10-09-2009
Las Venturas Playground 2.91 already has over 50 bug fixes, changes and new features. Once Alpha 3 is complete I think we should have a 2.91 VIP test to test everything so far. After Alpha 3 there is just a few tweaks and the NPCs left to do which won't require large scale tests.

We could announce the test sometime tomorrow for next Sunday or something, so we're giving plent of notice.

I'd rather say a public test.
We have the capacity for it
And I doubt that we will have near 100 VIPs who are willing to test.

We don't need a public test yet, it's not like 2.90, there aren't that many changes, mainly just a few tweaks and basic handles that have all already been excessively tested. We only need a test with ~ 20 players. Maybe before making it live we could run a public beta to find any last minute bugs, but it isn't really necessary for now

+1 for the public test. VIPs might not show if we do a VIP then a public test, and we want high numbers (I figure).

So everyone's agreed 2 weeks Sunday (25th October) is good? If so we should announce it asap, more notice we give, the more chance we have of players actually joining. If the MySQL shiz aint ready by then we'll just have to disable user accounts for it.

Don't bother using main accounts anyway, and let people register beforehand on a new clean DB to test out.
