Kill streaks; - tomozj - 10-04-2009 Yo. This is a feature thought of with Call of Duty MP in mind - kill streaks. We can't exactly implement UAV recon but perhaps we can do something similar in terms of bonuses. For example, if a player gets 3 kills in a row he can receive an ammo or health boost (the latter when not in a fight only) by simply pressing a button on their keyboard. This would promote staying alive for longer instead of just running in and hoping for the best. Just a small idea, whaddya think? Re: Kill streaks; - Richard - 10-04-2009 7 kills, hunter(NPC) defending your ass. Actually if that was possible I would go for it - would be fun ![]() Anyway nice idea. But, a little more than 3 kills imo, make it every 10 or someth Re: Kill streaks; - Jay - 10-04-2009 Oh yeah, and how about Kill ratings to (stole this idea out of LW's ) depending on the victim's health, armour, distance, ammo, etc, players get a rank for every kill they make, 10/10 being really hard to get
Re: Kill streaks; - Richard - 10-04-2009 Yeah of course more kills, just used the CoD4 ones ![]() (10-04-2009, 11:17 AM)Jay link Wrote: Oh yeah, and how about Kill ratings to (stole this idea out of LW's Hmm, would it be able to see how much damage you took yourself? Re: Kill streaks; - tomozj - 10-05-2009 Well it would be awkward as you could be shot by other people or have started the fight with less health, so it's hard to tell. I think that perhaps making a bulletproof car would be cool, if you get say a 10 kill streak. But anyway, just wanted to see if it could be agreed that kill streaks of some sort could be implemented, let alone what they would be. ![]() This would be a 2.92 thing, it's relatively complex. |
