Beta team - Jay - 08-30-2009
I'm making a new topic for this so we can discuss it better.
We need a new beta team, and we need a new beta team now. The people in .beta are all a waste of space. Even when 2.90 was in development, I used to have to give about 4 days notice to get more than two people ingame to test, which just isn't good enough.
Everyone should be banned out of .beta and the password changed. Here's a list of people who were actually quite active in 2.90 beta testing who I think should make the team (except other devs / management):
- Maka
- Twilight
- Joe
That's all. We'll have to recruit some active people from the community to help us out - people who are active on IRC and ingame.

I agree, we need a reliable beta team. It doesn't have to be big, but the persons in it need to be active and willing to help out. The three you mentioned are good indeed, but we indeed need more non-crew in the team. I can't think of anyone right now, maybe I'll come up with someone later.

Make a new board then below the VIP board or something, a new forum tag would go nice with it to "LVP Tester" or w/e you guys normally put.

I'd like to suggest Lithirm, he's a fun guy, he's basically always at IRC and knows the gamemode good.

I'd like to suggest Cave. I trust him and now that he's back he seems quite active on LVP again. I think he's also the type of person that doesn't mind helping us out every now and then.

I trust Cave too but I haven't seen him around much really.
