Feature request: a usermenu - Chillosophy - 07-01-2007 cliquetyclick To make the game way easier for players, especially new players, it would be great if [some key] could be binded to a menu that has access to many often-used commands. I see new players getting confused about the commands a lot. Also a few friends of mine who haven't played SA-MP before had no idea where to start. Ofcourse there are the /help-pages, but still it's not obvious enough. I think a usermenu like this is a great improvement for LVP. Please comment
Re: Feature request: a usermenu - Rippance - 07-10-2007 Lol, looks good man, especially the way you worked it out. This would come very handy for new players indeed. I'm sure JUTD has some spare time available to program this for us. ![]() Quote:The exit menu-item is a Retard-proof® solution for players who don't know that return exits the menuYou can't say that untill s0mb0dy and/or battyboybarry have tested it.
Re: Feature request: a usermenu - Sander - 09-17-2007 Well, we have /race and /minigames already ![]() That's a start, isn't it? ![]() We can do the same for /help , and for more. Re: Feature request: a usermenu - Sander - 09-17-2007 Only admin commands has been grouped, for now. Player commands will follow, but not now. And I don't think we delete /race for example. You don't want to type /dunnowhatcommand to open a menu, then go to minigames, and then go to race, and then select your race. A quick menu should be always available in my opinion. The idea was to have the usermenu open with one button. Or at most a onelettercommand. But ofcourse we should keep the other menus
Re: Feature request: a usermenu - Sander - 09-18-2007 Of course, but thats next to the other menu's. 1 main menu with options to deeper menu's (Like the main > minigames > race example), which should be accessible directly, via /minigames and /race. |
