IRC !lang command available for VIPs - Mark - 02-28-2009
Well yeah, here's a suggestion, can the !lang command be enabled to voiced (+) people over at #LVP.echo? After all, every user with + on .echo is a VIP in-game and can use the /lang command in-game. Small addition could be added that if a VIP abuses the !lang on IRC an admin could revoke the command usage from the abuser. What's your opinion?

No, imo.
After abusing it, they would have to have their +v removed, meaning they can't PM anymore either. And as that gets a lot of crying..
And, ingame is enough imo. VIPs aren't mods, it's just a little help for the ingamecrew. Extending it to IRC as well is just giving VIPs more rights. We'll end up with more then just muting.

It's not like that there are people dying because we didn't mute someone.
