parachute/dive bug - Mystery_Maker - 02-07-2009
i was getting a shooter who was shooting from the building near the ship with sniper, i typed /dive but i didn't had any parachute later after, i fell without parachute in water but i still died (< this happens most to me). i again do it, this time the parachute disappears in mid air fr sometimes then appears again but after reappearing , i was unable to open the parachute (<this happens twice). i did tried third time and same happened, sometimes it works good but sometimes it happens as mentioned above.
o What where you doing? killing the "lamer" or "sniper"
o Where there other players which encountered the same problem? don't know maybe they did
o Could you reproduce the bug? don't know, it happens sometimes, i don't know how
o Was it only once, or did it happen all the time? (often) sometimes it happens always
o Did you try to reconnect first? no i don't

did you press enter?
That closes the parachute.
Maybe you hit a key on your keyboard.
PS: Just buy Spawnweapon-parachute, costs 15k or so.

i didn't press enter and i had parachute as spawn

It's not a bug, they made it like that. Whenever you try to use /dive on the ship you get a message 'You cannot dive on the ship'.
Also when you dive above the ship you'll loose your parachute.

Yep. If you dive over the ship, your weapons get reset, like it should.
No bug.
