Why i cant connect to irc - Mystery_Maker - 01-08-2009
whenever i connect to irc its says

download mIRC, choose a name, add a server: irc.gtanet.com
connect then type /lvp, /lvp.echo ....

try not to join irc from a homepage, download the free program mIRC and connect to irc.gtanet.com.
There are lots of tutorials in the interwebz how to get started with mIRC, i really recommend you using this.

Download mIRC. Its a 30day demo, but the demo never runs out xD. after 30 days it just annoys you when you started it with "please register".
first, you search a server for your irc network. do "add", then server name: GTAnet, server description: GTAnet, server address or something: irc.gtanet.com
Once you are connected to GTAnet, type in:
/join #channelname
For example, /join #warriors to get in the IRC channel of the [W]arriors.
