When i spawnt i had a property, i didn't bought it.
What where you doing?

Was it only once, or did it happen all the time?
Not all the time, but happend to me a few times.
Did you try to reconnect first?
No
I had this before, and i think, i know how the bug appears.
When i was connecting i was typing my password and logged in.
If you typ it to fast, you enter the skin menu so you can change it.
If you wait to late you get spawned at an interior.
I think i was between it, sort like, falling down a hole in the system.
Because, i was logged in and spawned at the interior.

If I am correct this is due to a simple reason.
Lets say a Player with ID 5 Timed out. During that time, another player connects and takes ID 5. Since the server remembers the properties being owned by ID 5, the new player who is ID 5 now owns the properties without even having bought them.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.

No he isn't. If we stored properties to player IDs, it wouldn't work to good. I have reconnected to LVP many times in the past, and its a rare occasion that I have the same ID.

Jay's right, it has nothing to do with the previous ID.
I've had this bug a few times- you don't have to be registered to get it, but I don't see a problem with it.
It's rare, and you get some free money without stealing the property from any other player who owns it.
If it really needs to be fixed or you feel it should, then go for it, but IMO it's not such a big deal.

Well it might not seem a big deal now, but 2.90 uses a new system that saves a players stats after they crash - spawn weapons, position, gang, etc, and it uses the same system. If this bug occurs and loads the wrong information for a player, it wouldn't be too good...

Well at the moment it isn't any problem for me but..
I don't think its right i pay 5 mil for the seti, and crash.
A guy that just registerd gets 250 k per minute for free because i payed for it.
Then its easly to get money, because if he earns that in a minute and gets to the bank he can bank it and days when he leave the game he has over 1 or 2 mil, the next day he can buy much higher properties.
But what jay said about the system then its a big deal.
