Hi,
I just wanted to say: I am playing sa-mp for a while now, and ... I see much 8-9 year old people on the servers. When they come on, and they ask something or doing something wrong or ... They always got marked as a noob and experienced gamers bully them away. Even sometimes when it is an older person or whatever. They are mistreated. They also need a chance! I think it must stop to make them feel unwelcome. Be there for them and teach them how to play and it will be also nicer for them. You also had to learn it. (This is not a personal writing)

We have exact thoughts Edver! I've always disliked it when experienced players use the word "Noob" on new or less experienced players. In my opinion, that is a put down.
And it is much more irritating when the word is used out of anger. Some new player gets lucky and kills a Regular player with a Desert Eagle and that makes him a Noob....Really? I have never in my entire stay here in LVP, called anyone a Noob once.
It really is a way of bullying people. I would imply a sort of punishment for people who use this word too much and for no reason. But then again, if it hasn't been done until this point, I really doubt it would occur now. Just good to know someone shares my thoughts

They are playing an 18+ game, so they should step up to it and act more maturely.
I really think the minimum age should be 12-13, although it is usually those who are giving the "8-9 year olds" a hard time.
8-9 year olds are incredibly impressionable- so if they take the over-the-top swearing in singleplayer to heart and start acting like little kid-gangsters to the rest of us then they deserve to learn the hard way.
I was playing Mario at your age, and it didn't do me no harm, I'm a perfectly normal drug-addicted racist who pics up 13 year old boys on the internet as far as I can tell.

I've met those kind of players before. And yes, they can be really annoying. But my argument is not based on them. As far as those kind of kids go, I could care less how they are treated. But I'm arguing for the players who don't talk much at all, but somehow manage to kill or nade someone, and they are called noobs; yet they did not even say a word.
Those wanna-be gangsters shouldn't really be playing +18 Games.
And players who just want to make friends and have fun, should not be treated the same ways as the immature ones. We should all be smart enough to recognize the different types.
I've had many "New" players kill me from the back with a Desert Eagle. They kill me, I die, they go on their way, I say nothing, they say nothing, and that's that. No need for me to call them Noob because of the back shot. It's just s game.

I totally agree with you Edver an Ryder,New people also need a chance as everyone here that is skilled has had help of some kind when playing a shooting game such as sa-mp.Myself can't stand the word "noob" either although i say it when some is really being "noobish"Like edver said the bullying because someone new has shot at a regular an owned him with his deagle makes him a noob?Nope not at all,That's why i dislike being on this server as much because of flames etc.Any new person joining lvp I'm glad to help an show them what is an whats not.I clearly see your point to Maddolis grow up to it or get on an not bother with it since implying it is a 18+ game

The game is 18+, kids shouldn't be playing anyway, like madd said. and noob is a term that will be around for years of online gaming, and it isn't going anywhere fast.

I thought 12-14 year a reasonable age to play a game like GTA, only until some kid tried a grand theft in real life.
But.. then again there was some other guy like 16+ who attempted a grand theft auto in America.
Too many dumb people on the net these days.

Yes, I get your point. Many kids are immature and act all tough just because their real faces are covered because of the Internet; but there are many other players who just Play and not Chat at all. Many times those are the type of players who are called Noobs just because they got lucky and killed a regular.
I'm all for talking back to the wanna-be gangsters, but seriously, ease up on the new ones who just want to play.

I think if you have to be atleast 12 to play GTA
A because lets face it, it does have alot of swearing and violance in the single player.But what about SA-MP, 13 in my point of view, I think that SA-MP has more swearing in one day then toughout the whole of San Andreas single player. But back on topic, yes i agree i think not just 8-9 year old players should get somthing more then others because they are underage, but all the new players.
