Well, I'll start off by saying that I'm not very good at deathmatching in any game - in SAMP this isn't exactly helped by the shite netcode which leaves the decision of bullets hitting on the person being hit, and not the person shooting as logic would dictate. I've always prefered to get my money by a peaceful and/or safe route, which in LVP has been mainly car exports and racing, both of which I'm rather good at.
But it seems every time I play some retard decides to start chasing me down and trying to kill me, no matter how hard I try to get away.
I know that deathmatching is one of the main ways to get money in this server. But I know too well that if I try and buy a property, I'll lose my entire fortune because some prick shoots me and my money poofs into nowhere. Frankly, I don't give a shit that deathmatching is allowed, and I don't give a shit that it's GTA, why do people insist on picking a fight with someone who probably doesn't want to fight at all?
Yes, this is a rant. It's a rant about how people can't ever leave other people alone. I'll be honest, despite that it is possible to make money without killing people, 90% of others will probably disagree and shoot you. Will people ever get the message that not everyone's spoiling for a fight and just leave them alone?

Probably not. This server is freeroam / DM / Stunt / RPG (I will get many crew members replying here that I'm wrong).
You can alway stay at the ship for a while, and they will stop chaising you. Altough I think if you don't piss off any DM'er, I don't see a reason why they should try to kill you.

Probably not. This server is freeroam / DM / Stunt / RPG (I will get many crew members replying here that I'm wrong).
You can alway stay at the ship for a while, and they will stop chaising you. Altough I think if you don't piss off any DM'er, I don't see a reason why they should try to kill you.

I don't know why people are so unreasonable in games like GTA, but it evidently takes an enforced safe area like the ship to get any safety, and even then I often see messages of people being jailed for breaching the safe-area. Should be a kick if you ask me, but hey, it's not my server.

Just buy a spawn armor, thats all.
If the DMers drive around, and see some guy with a name that they dont know, they think its one of these new players and easy kills, thats why the kill ya.
If you have a spawnarmor and drive around in a car, they think you have also spawnweapons and most of them will leave you alone.
But if u drive around with nothing but your health bar, everyone will think you are a newfag and have only the start-deagle, thats why they kill you to push there stats.

MegaJohnny, you're what people call an easykill. You aren't fighting and have no armour, so when someone with weapons and armour see you, they don't care whether you care, they just shoot. If you were a DMer and you saw someone roaming with no armour or weapons, you'd do the same. You might say you won't, but that's coming from your view, as a non-dmer, not as a DMer's point of view.
Hitman beat me already while I was typing this but ohwell it's still posting!

Shooting's fine, as its GTA (and a shooting game), but when people flame random newbies (such as yourself) after killing them it just becomes annoying. Its very common for people to do that on this server though, so disregard everything people say and just screw around- or pick another server.

I consider myself to also be a predominantly RPG player. I dont kill a lot and, seriously, one of the best ways to avoid getting shot is becoming a member of the crew
A lot of regulars dont shoot you anymore then 
As this is quite an unrealistic option for most people I can only agree with Hitman to buy a spawnarmor. This increases your chance of surviving a visit by a DM player. Besides that you could increase your typing speed. That way you can escape by teleporting away if you dont feel like fighting (note: if you started a fight or were shooting and are about to lose do not teleport away as this is considered very lame and I agree with that). Good luck with roleplaying, it is possible on LVP and the people shooting at you are just an extra to make it 'exciting' in some way or another
DM is a big part of this server, but there is and there should be enough room for RP'ers.
