New pc , new problems... - n00ne - 11-21-2008 So i got my new pc with Windows Vista Home Basic. Installed some programs including San Andreas which works fine , and the new sa-mp. Set the compatibility. But when i turn on sa-mp it shows me this menu and makes me choose the directory where san andreas is installed (the exe file). But the exe file as you can see in this pic , isn't there. ![]() So , i need help cause i really want to start playing A.S.A.P.
Re: New pc , new problems... - Chan - 11-21-2008 Just press OK should work... Make sure your in C:\Program Files (x86) Not C:\Program Files\ Re: New pc , new problems... - n00ne - 11-21-2008 I installed the game in C Games/Rockstar Games. And the "Just press OK" thing , didn't work. It just said Still couldn't find gta_sa.exe , aborting launch. Re: New pc , new problems... - Chan - 11-21-2008 Hmm, are you sure the gta_sa.exe is there? If not, I would re-install GTA SA. Nothing to do with your PC. Your PC is running on Vista and so is mine. Re: New pc , new problems... - Aaron - 11-21-2008 I'd say the same just do a quick re-install of gta and sa-mp,I had the same problem and just reinstalled it all then it worked like it should.I was wondering where you've been at lol gl:
Re: New pc , new problems... - n00ne - 11-22-2008 I re-installed san andreas & sa:mp. Everything Works fine now.
Re: New pc , new problems... - Munch - 11-22-2008 Don't know if it'll help, but, are you using a crack? If not, then try one. If so, then try a different crack. Re: New pc , new problems... - FarePak - 11-22-2008 Click on GTA: San Andreas folder and click ok. ^ That would of fixed everything but seeing as you already fixed it, future reference Re: New pc , new problems... - Mark - 11-22-2008 I wonder what kind of bug this is. Never happened to me, but maybe it's because I'm using XP. Hey noone, OT but why did you buy Vista?
