Whats the point of DDoSing a game server do they get some kind of pleasure from that or are they just attacking all the servers from the hosting company?

I only post this because I don't understand the mindsets of the people like TEF described below, people do amaze me. :)

People enjoy it, and some do it because they've been permabanned and don't like it so they attack the server.

Correct. I once banned some guy who, after the ban, came on under the name "Justin" and started to spam PM's to people with very inappropriate comments. After I banned him once again, he started to E-Mail me, make YouTube videos of me (like the ones made of SA:MP Developers), and signed me up to some website for same-sex couples. I had to change my E-Mail, but he still drops me a message every now and then with some of those disgusting pictures attached to it as well. Is this guy a hacker? No, he just took advantage of me having my contact information on the forums. You'd be extremely surprised at these jerks with no life who just enjoy being an ass to others.
