Some bugs - Wesley - 09-02-2008 chevy reported some bugs to me this morning: [08:18:53] <chevy> ther few bugs probably bugs and probably not. well if you punch on the ship u get jailed that cool but not attacking someone just punching the air .. [08:19:32] <chevy> 2. the admins aswell get jailed when they Punch on the ship but they dont when they do kill someone on it using a weapon from outside. [08:20:17] <chevy> 3. the new Hunter and New Hydra still can be stolen using the world bug [08:20:49] <chevy> 4. if your admin or crew and did /unmod it says you no longer moderator , but you still have the rights unless you do /takeadmin <ID> Re: Some bugs - Richard - 09-02-2008 2: They should get the warning imo, but not the jail ![]() 4: /unadmin + /unmod works, but, it should work if you do only one, stripping you from all the rights. Re: Some bugs - tomozj - 09-02-2008 I've found that /unmod and /unadmin fail completely, and that takemod or takeadmin should be used instead. Re: Some bugs - Jay - 09-02-2008 Admins getting jailed when they punch is intentional to prevent abuse. Killing on the other hand is different, as it can be used to check for health cheaters. Punching the air is intentional as-well. The ship is a peace zone, it doesn't matter where you punch, it simply isn't allowed. Think back in the old days when weapons worked on the ship, it wasn't allowed to just randomly shoot back then. What bug with entering hydras/hunters in worlds? Re: Some bugs - [Griffin] - 09-02-2008 i dont see a reason why to have it prevent abuse, if admins would abuse it i dont see why they even became an admin. plus even if they got jailed they can just unjail themselves so i dont see a reason why they should get jailed. I remember that, yea you couldn't shoot at all. ![]() (09-02-2008, 06:16 PM)Jay link Wrote: What bug with entering hydras/hunters in worlds? This bug applies to Peter's car as well. Have 1 person get into the car, then another person try and jack the person entering the vehicle. The person entering, goes to another world, right when they enter the car (before closing the door) and the person jacking doesn't enter, and the person entering drives about happily. I know that isn't a bug with LVP, more samp, but perhaps there's a way to work around it? S: I don't remember a is_Player_entering_car command
Re: Some bugs - Wesley - 09-06-2008 Another small bug I found: when you use /taxi, and are waiting for your taxi, it shows the estimated arrival time, then when you type /taxi again to cancel your taxi it disappears, but then when you get into a vehicle, the speedometer shows, but the speed also shows on the taxi's textdraw. Re: Some bugs - Jay - 09-06-2008 Are you using SA-MP 0.2.2 R3? Anyway, I'll see if I can sort that out. Re: Some bugs - Wesley - 09-06-2008 I'm still using R2.. Re: Some bugs - Jay - 09-06-2008 Well, LVP 2.90 is more aimed at R3 users to be honest. We are trying to make it as R2 compatiable as possible though, but as a fix I suggest you upgrade. |
