Idea for a challenge and some reaction test stuff... - n00ne - 08-10-2008

1. There could be a new challenge called "How fast can you kill" or something similar to that.
The idea is like one player challenges another and they get tp'd to where the challenge will happen they both get the weapons they have atm (or if u want they can get the same weps (uzi/tec9 & sawn-off)) and the challenge begins. In 45 seconds u have to kill ur opponent , otherwise his and ur health/armour get restored and the battle continues. Both players can quit the challenge at anytime but only if there has been 1 restore of health/armour to prevent laming and quiting if ur about to get killed.

And when the challenge ends on the screen should be shown a message Player1 has won the "How fast can you kill" challenge after fighting for x-seconds with x-restores or something like that

2. The reaction test results shown on the screen could contain the record for the reaction test like "The fastest typing record holder is n00ne 3.57 seconds / The fastest math test record holder is n00ne 4.65 seconds"

Thankyou for taking your time and reading all this , cya. :)

For your first idea.. not a bad idea. Nothing much to say.

And regarding your second idea -- I remember MrBondt used to run some script from IRC (I as a noob was confused, and thought he simply had no life :X). This script basically did what you're talking about with the original reaction-test. It was all controlled from IRC however, and not tied to the gamemode itself. I'd actually like something like this -- and the top score could be reset every few weeks or something.
