[Feature] Casino break-in - tomozj - 07-24-2008 Two teams -- the guards, and the robbers (Elvis impersonators). I originally did this on the B&A server, and it was a pretty cool game. Simply, the attackers (armed with colt .45s) must breach the vault, by getting past the guards (with MP5s). Once that is done, they must then run back up the stairs and exit through the garage at the back, like in the mission. It's pretty fixed, but with a handler in place we could flex this -- such as storming from the front or rooftop, whatever's preferred. A casino floor shootout or the guards firing rockets at incoming helicopters? ![]() Pretty cool, either way. The weapons were chosen specifically -- allowing the attackers to run in and inflict some damage whilst, and the defenders can inflict lots of damage however cannot move as much whilst doing so.

What about spawning the atackers somewhere like the airport, with a range of vehicles giving them the choice whether to attack from any angle they prefer? Aye. Maybe even give them one hydra to take out the guards on the rooftop before landing? And give the guards RPGs.. would be insane. What would be cool also is a police team on the side, having to get themselves from say the outskirts of LV to the casino, and then break up the gang fight and arrest people. That'd be.. nuts. Maybe too much, dunno. Re: [Feature] Casino break-in - Rien - 07-24-2008 maybe it's possible to spawn the Hadra with 500 health instead of 1000, so it's slightly easyier to shoot it down with normal weapons too, and the RPG's of the guards should be removed after the Hydra is shot down too of course, or they would use any rockets they still had against the other robbers
Re: [Feature] Casino break-in - Ben - 07-24-2008 Im not too keen on the policemen being spawned. No-ones going to just stop and get arrested, would kinda take the fun outa the game imo. Unless, once say the objects that are supposed to be stolen are indeed stolen, a certain amount of policemen spawn and the attackers have to try and escape them? While the police members are waiting to be spawned they could have the /watch ability we do, to see how the attacks going, give them something to do while they wait.
