You're not doing anything to them? If you neglect a child you're allowing them to starve and effectively letting them die. You're intentionally ignoring the child's basic needs to survive.

It falls under child abuse (and animal abuse) and therefore is a form of abuse.

I guess what I'm referring to is when it's just leaving the kid in a room for an hour or something, but yea, I guess if you completely neglect them then it would be, there was a family that got sent to jail for locking their grand kids in cages and neglecting them, or when people leave their kids in the car for an extended period of time on a hot day...but I wasn't really referring to more then an hour in a room playing or something...

Well that's not neglect if they're in a room on their own for an hour or whatever, that's just parents or carers giving them some space and freedom.
When kids get ignored and don't get fed, while the parents or carers are feeding their addictions or whatever they find more important than their kids, that's neglect, which is abuse. It's not physical, or sexual, but still abuse.

Well then the 11/9 has nothing to do with religion too. Or terrorism.

Remove the "because you simple cant understand it." and I'll agree with you.
Thats an opinion or statement / argument so if u wanna stay neutral (as to what the rest of ur posted showed) skip that.

You can't prove what does not exist.

Re: [Serious Discussion] Religion - Bloodst3r - 05-27-2011

MidNight, it's 58 pages and probably will expand more because it's obvious that no one will get convinced with anything but what he think of. it's more like of sharing religious point of views now, the discussion would be even better if people cut out the irony and stop trying to be funny though.
