That's what the normal flu affects, and that's what makes Swine flu different. It attacks the healthy people, of all ages.

All flus attack healthy people of all ages. The question is whether it kills healthy people of all ages.

It's killed about 100 people so far, and is being compared to SARS, the bird flu etc- none of which pose any real threat if you live in a rich country that looks out for its citizens. The 100 people that've died would've been homeless Mexicans I bet, if anyone in Australia, America or a bunch of 1st-world European countries catch it they'll be cured in half a week from a simple trip to the local doctor.

There is no cure for flu. Your body either gets used to it, or it doesn't. I'm not worried however. I look at it as natural selection with a very small chance of me being one to fall. And I think its being blown out of proportion just like the bird flu was.

Indeed, it's just something the mainstream media is making a huge (over glorified) fuss over, just so they can say they have fresh news. The only reason this strain of influenza is called the "swine flu" is because the strain first appeared in swine heards.
