Indeed the Octopus is worthy... but he(i assume its male) only has to bribed once which will fit in to the bribing/match fixing most of the main sports have suffered recently..
Have to look at it from the Octopus perspective... after the world cup final, he's just food. Same if he's wrong... so he would obviously tell people Spain.. to increase the odds so he can place a bet himself on holland and win alot more money. With that he can use the money to buy his freedom and live happily ever after to make love to 8 lady octopussies... After all his credability is amazing at this stage..
