I strongly doubt this will be released and or played.
The GTA IV license doesn't allow such modifications, even if they get past Rockstar*, they'll need to get past Microsoft (they're bypassing Windows Live) and then they need to get past Kye, who says a large part of the GTA IV source code is stolen from the leaked SA-MP version.

Jep, he was talking about the source code in #sa-mp @ FFSNetwork earlier, saying that they stole a big part etc.

Kye ain't even allowed to make money from SA-MP, If Rockstar knew people had to pay to get their servers in the official or hosted list, I'm sure they would have done something about it..

Infact Kye can be VERY lucky that Rockstar just lets him continue with SA:MP. Kye cant do shit, if Rockstar decided to "close" SA:MP Kye can be lucky that he doesnt have to pay a fine or something, since what he does is a major copyright issue
