Best storyline for me was Vice City, It was extremely entertaining. Also had the best main character in Ray Loitta or w/e its spelt. Tommy Vercetti owned.

Hehe I searched @ Wikipedia, looks like it's Ray Liotta, anyways, indeed, the Vice City's storyline was the one I liked the most

GTA SA was the first one i completed the storyline w/out cheating and got 100%. The best mission for me was the final mission for the C.I.A guy where you had to steal the military jet. I swear though nearly every time I do that mission the jets chasing you crash and burn before you even get a chance to take them down.
From GTA Vice city I couldn't pick a stand-out but one I liked was when you get drunk with that crazy army guy then he blows up something and you have to drive him to hospital all drunk lol.
