2. Id rather a variety of versions, the arcade gives a nice option for people to get a 360 for the price of $200 instead of $300 for the 60GB version.

There is a good difference between the 2 system's controllers, but they are both really good. I had a PS2, so it was a little weird when i first used an xbox controller. I dont really care for the PS3's triggers since they dont click, which is what i was used to with the PS2's L2 and R2.
One big positive that i will say about the PS3 is that it does a WAY better job at up-scaling DVD's to 1080p.

Well yeh , 1080p = good graphics , and as u described , PS3 and X360 are much a like , just different looks , etc etc. I mean it all depends on a persons opinion , i believe if i try a 360 , i would be addicted to it , but since all my life i was a PS fan , ill go with PS3. And also , there is a blu-ray driver (though its fuckin expensive) , and the cd's got 25GB in them , i mean 25GB , hmm i can store how many movies? How many games? maybe like 2 or 3 , and i dunno how a CD can manage to play 2 or 3 different games on a console , but who knows , it can be possible. =D

1. Blu-ray burners cost like $150 and the discs cost like $4-5 each so i doubt you will be burning stuff to blu-rays for a long time

Its true, they used to be like $400, they've just recently dropped in price.

umm hmm..
just something that might sound weird but th 360's controller is 100 times more comfortable than the ps3 controller and when you hold it atleast you get some feeling that your holding something and we have vibration although I heared ps3 made a controller with vibration after they said the rumble/vibration was an outdated addition
+ just wanna know..any ps3 games as successful as Halo3? wich I enjoy every day since it came out in 2007, although i still need training

The only reason why Halo is getting sell so mutch is because of their reputation and because evry1 knowns halo not because its a great game
