Re: Football Topic - Munch - 02-17-2010

*Double Post*

AC Milan 2 - 3 Man U (In the San Siro).
Lyon 1 - 0 Real Madrid

In the AC Milan vs Man U match, Milan got a nice early goal from a Beckham cross, Evra tried to do an over head kick to clear it (idiot) and missed so Ronaldinho took advantage off it and struck it nicely, resulting in a goal from a deflection of a United defender.

AC Milan dominated most of the first half, but Scholes got a VERY lucky goal between the middle and the end of the first half. The ball was nicely crossed by a Man U player (can't remember who) and Scholes went to boot it but his right foot missed it and it hit his standing left foot, which then bounced towards the post and bounced in. It was a freak goal! And then Fergie had the cheek to shout at his players!

In the second half, Man U were definately the better side (except for the last 10 minutes). Rooney scored two nice headers, but the second AC Milan goal was a great goal. He tapped it with the back of his left foot and in it went. In the last 10 minutes (from minute 84 to 94) AC Milan looked like they were gonna at least equalise but they never did.

Evra fould an AC Milan player, but Michael Carrick got a second yellow and then a red. Apparently it was for booting the ball, but that Evra cunt got fack all (I hate that guy).

First half, looked like AC had it, second half Man U were in control. Gotta wait until the second leg at Old Trafford to see who goes into the next round. Will be a tough call but I have a feeling Man U will scrape a win.

Re: Football Topic - _Ivan_ - 02-17-2010

Ronaldinho showed up in very good performance, and that also build up nice perf. to his team. But it was obvious that Milan played awesome for first 30 mins, later they fell off in game so ManU took game in their hands and scored an equalizer.

It's so obvious that Milan can't stand manu for whole 90 mins coz they don't play quick, fast and precise football like eng. clubs are.
They putted all hopes on few technicians like Pato, Ronaldinho and Seedorf...
But that's proof of difference between Italian and English clubs. Difference in game tempo and physical power which ManU had ...
I'm afraid same thing gonna happen to Inter vs Chelsea..

Re: Football Topic - XiZ - 02-17-2010

Uhm...the commentators said Man U haven't beaten AC Milan at the San Siro yet, until that game. So at the San Siro, they can usually stand Man U. But against someone like Rooney, on the form he's in, you can't expect an easy game. Let's just wait for the return game.

And I think Chelsea will beat the crap outta Inter Milan.

Lol I couldn't believe it either, but then again they have been great this year.
Who knows? Maybe they could win the cup this year.

Liverpool vs Unirea at Anfield tomorrow. I'll post the results and as usual be LVP's commentator for it!
Unirea beat Glasgow Rangers 4-1 in the group stages, so they aren't an easy team. If they beat Celtic 4-1 that won't mean anything, but Rangers? Ouch!

Aresenal vs FC Porto today, kickoff is near! Will be a tough game But I have faith in Arsenal to get a nice win.

FC Porto 2 - 1 Arsenal.

From what I saw there was no better side. Each team played good football. The ref was a bit shit, but I think Arsenal cried too much sometimes. Towards the end on minute 88 Vela claimed it was a penalty, but the other player touched the ball first meaning it was no foul.

The second Porto goal was a bit unlucky to Arsenal and kinda reminded me of Man U's first goal yesterday. They were however all nice goals.

Re: Football Topic - 8Ball - 02-17-2010

lol seriously?
portos first goal was absolutely terrible, probably worst goalkeeiping i've ever seen in my life.

first goal for porto is deeply stupid fabiansky mistake , can happen but not like that  :'(

second porto goal is eeh stupid

long ball going towards porto striker , campbell runs after the ball but doesn't touches it  , fabiansky picks up ball and its a free-kick in penalty box for porto . Then porto player picks the ball passes towards other porto player and goal , while arsenal haven't even had time for a wall or even place a player . Sad win man , arsenal gonna beat them at emirates atleast 3-0 with arshavin almunia & song coming back  ;)

You're right. The scores have been 4-0, 3-0, 2-0 and 1-0 to AC Milan the last four times they played.

I was at that fucking game. Worst day of being a Rangers fan in 17 years.

Let's just hope they win the SPL at least and not them green YNWA stealing scum!

But Rangers haven't been the Rangers I've grown up to love since the UEFA Cup final defeat against Zenit St Petersburg.

Re: Football Topic - _Ivan_ - 02-18-2010

Fabianski made hugeee mistake. Actually he could kick the ball off or when he took it he could throw it away so his team could organize a defend a bit but he gave it to referee  _O-

And we will see how Inter will stand Chelsea on next Wednesday.
Btw told ya Lyon gonna take that match vs. Real  :Y)
