Im playing it for 6 days now and I haven't seen a cheater yet..
I used to be a CS 1.6 player as well and cheats used to get blacklisted very fast..

From the people I heard, there's hackers everywhere. The maker of the hack is giving them away for free rather then charging money for it. Which makes it quite likely that there's a lot of people taking it.
As for CS: Can't really tell myself, mere stories.

CS cheats are pretty "rare" cos you have to pay for the good ones - i think a Valve member once said that it takes just about 3-5 hours until a new public hack gets detected & banned.

Various cheaters spotted already. Varying from wall-hack and auto-aim to the less innocent, but still cheating, Prestige 10 / level 70 hack. First chits where released within 12 hours. Quite sad.

Yeah, but t hey're all gonna be raped soon by VAC.
PS: At all people who wrote "gf VAC" - you dont know how VAC works. VAC doesnt ban people on sight, it collects the cheater data and bans their accounts like once per month. If VAC caught you cheating it may be that you can still play on VAC servers for another few weeks before you get banned.

the singleplayer aint longer then cod4... that means it can be easily completed in one single evening.
