That's strange, 'cos you don't need to quit your clan to be a mod. It's true you can't /gang join , but that doesn't in any way mean you need to quit your clan. So that's clearly not the reason. I wonder what the real reason was?

What is wrong with admins/mods being a clan? If I for example remember correctly I was in [SiN] when I became a mod.

I remember you were in SiN when you became (admin that I remember) mod/admin, I honestly don't see a problem with it.
