Rofl that statement is as funny as it is true. Every year the authorities say we're prepared and equipped to deal with the meagre snow we get, and every year they get caught with their pants around their ankles when a whole 1 inch of snow falls and the country literally grinds to a halt.

We complain when we have 6 inches of snow, the trains ain't working and the national guard is called in to remove snow from the tracks.

Freeze doesn't have to mean a shitload of snow! Just that it's dropped in temperature a lot from the weekend, also quite a lot of snow is forecasted for the whole country soon.
