Spoke to every side now and here's my conclusion in a simple timeline.
MacSto banned Zaibatsu for shipshooting which imo was legit.
Zaibatsu didn't agree and went to MacSto. They talked, Zaibatsu wanted to be permbanned.
MacSto redirected Zaibatsu to Matthias.
Matthias makes the given ban permanent.
That's where I come in. I check out what happened, talk to all 3 people involved.
I talked to Zaibatsu just now and I promised him I wouldn't unban him if he told me why (he didn't want to tell me as he thought I would unban if I knew the reason).
So basically, he is still banned as I promised not to unban. But that doesn't mean others won't.
Edit: On Zaibatsus request, HoogerBooger is now the topicstarter.
