Still, back on topic, sa-mp won't die, it'll fade into a similar but slightly larger existance than VC-MP nowadays.

i don't think so. as far as i know GTA IV is only for xbox and ps3 and when it will be released on PC i don't think everyone will be able to play it cause the game will require a very good PC probably

Agree. I doubt that thousands of people around the worl would waste their money on a powerful video card or good computer in order to play GTAIV. It will happen eventually, but the process will be slow.

If you think about it, do you guys remember when SA didn't have a good deathmatch mod? Everyone was on Vice City, because it was the only good deathmatch mod out there. The difference this time is is that GTA IV is coming with it's own multiplayer, but there's two catches. I believe that one is is that there can only be 16 players in one mode. The other one is that it's only out for Xbox 360 and PS3. Will SA-MP fade right when GTA IV comes out? Possibly. When everyone get's bored of it and says "omgwtfiwantscript" then they might come back to SA-MP.

Hmm. I just have to post now.
I believe the people who created the multiplayer mods we see today will take GTAIV *when it comes out for PC* and make a multiplayer mod for it. It's only logical.
