Re: SA:MP Framerates not GPU reliant - Daniel - 03-27-2011 how can you see your fps without fraps ? Re: SA:MP Framerates not GPU reliant - Daniel - 03-27-2011 oh i tryed it. i also get about 50 fps on ship without f7 Re: SA:MP Framerates not GPU reliant - Jakez - 03-29-2011 I'm suprised that so many of you didn't know about this ![]() Anyway, this is a great way to improve ALOT of FPS with frapsing for low-end and even high-end PC's. If you press F9 (gets rid of killboard) it slightly increases FPS too, but that's not really useful unless you're making some sort of movie. Also a little tip for some of you (although most already know) for 'FPS Stability': However many CPUs you have, San Andreas only ever starts with 1 CPU running the game. So to increase FPS Stability, minimize your game, go to Task Manager > Processes > GTASA.exe > right click and click on 'Set Affinity' and change it to as many CPUs as you have. Will this allow for higher settings with higher fps, as the game will now run with more CPUs? Or is it just to stabilize your current FPS so it doesnt drop. For example having /fpslimit 48 and going into a laggy area, this setting will prevent the fps from dropping? |
