There are more serious injuries in skiing and snowboarding than there are in swimming, running, shooting, flatwater canoeing, road and track cycling, volleyball, equestrian... I can name at least 10 more.
Honestly if you hate the olympics then you're the kind of person who would've entertained themselves by playing dungeons and dragons 5 hours a day before the internet existed.

True. I don't hate the Olympics 100%, but just believe that people concern over it too much. Some people watch it for the injuries, others watch it to see if someone representing their country wins the medals...but generally I'm not a big fan of what they do in the Olympics. I'd much rather be doing them things myself than to watch others do it and earn medals.
It's like watching people skiing on the TV. It's better to do the skiing than to watch some guy do it infront of a camera and fall over. Even falling over in skiing can be more fun than watching others do it if you don't sustain injuries.

Definately. When they do good jumps it's good to watch, but nothing to get obsessed over like the Winter Olympics gets. The Olympics aswell can be good to watch but definately overrated.
