I have just returned from a 180km (111 mile) three day bike ride through a mountain pass. I left on the 11th, and returned on the 13th (the 12th was my birthday). On the eve of my birthday I slept near an alpine lake at 1220 meters (4000 feet) altitude in a bivouac sack and sleeping bag and watched a meteor shower overhead. I have a few pictures to post of the ride at some point in time.
I've been with LVP for three birthdays and this is my very first topic! (special thanks to Richard!)
