Re: GTA 4 discussion - Turkey - 07-25-2007 Well the Sky on the 5th screeny looks damnly ugly... ![]() I must say the World Textures suck ... look at the street textures pretty ugly
Re: GTA 4 discussion - XL - 07-25-2007 Idd Turkey. It's just like H@wker said some posts back. Now I look at and it doesn't look that great at all. But I hope the gameplay will be good, thats more important imo. Also good news for people who don't have money for a high-end gamesystem.
Re: GTA 4 discussion - Ben - 07-26-2007 I dont care for what the weather looks like tbh, its more the game play in general im more keen about. The taxi thing is a nice touch. But i CBA reading most of that

The PlayStation 3 version is still "a week or two behind," according to Rockstar. The build shown is 5 weeks old, and the framerate has improved considerably since the last demo. Re: GTA 4 discussion - Ben - 07-27-2007 Ta Parry. I bought a magazine at the airport for £8 just because it had gta IV on the front, it said almost EXACTLY what that did

And then: you still need a pretty good pc.. the lights / shadows always drops your framerate alot. + spectacular levels.. SO: i think this engine still cant deal with the pressure from the lights and other facts. You dont need monster pc.. but still a good one. and if your pc can handle it.. well i hope the engine can.. I was thinking that with all the screenshots but from what the magazine editors describe the game to look like i think the screenshots are misleading. from what the game really looks like, well at least that's what i hope. @tomojz: More evidence of clothing customization here. Well, thats not really proof though. That could be from a mission that makes it so you go into that suit to make a different apprence for the mission. And then once the mission is over, you prob go back into your regular clothes. Re: GTA 4 discussion - tomozj - 07-29-2007 Nah, they'll let you change your clothes to some extent, but try and keep you in his main 'outfit'. Also, I'm starting to get a little worries about the texture detail of the buildings in the screenie parry posted. In the background, the side of the building is one flat surface, with a low-res texture. How fucked are we if this is how they release it? But, they probably won't release it like that... I like to believe. ![]() Addition: Check out this video of the second trailer in the SA engine!
