I disagree with Maddo-man, although the definition of a trance has been brought down to a really low level, people seem to classify most of the shit they hear on the radio under "trance" which has really screwed the reputation of it and it's more like a good trademark to stick on bullshit fliers and posters for promotion. And trust me trance isn't my first pick of music so that's not the reason why I am being so defensive.
For example this first video ain't got nothing to do with trance whatsoever.
Trance is something that should take you on a trip while you listen to it, check few examples below, the first one is an amazing piece of vocal trance.

For Chris sake this far from being techno or trance like you claim, it's more like some Moldavian folk gone extremely wrong. Sucks that people with such primitive knowledge in music seem to entitle what's good or what's bad music, that's exactly the reason why the mainstream music has turned into a big joke these days.
