Yeah, or /world or /dive... there should be timers for /pause /world /dive too.
Although its most annoying when they /taxi and are flaming you whilst standing there like a pussy.

true, i know its annoying but there are much aspects in the game that are annoying....
Why not make a counter on how long you can stand in /taxi mod. problem solved then.....

Aside from /taxi, they can do /tp /ctp /pause /dive /cardive /world.

Dont understand me wrong, i am for the counter.
But keep in mind that there are players that aren't that good in shooting so they drive arround.
And if they got a adhd shooter of course they do taxi then.
But when you start a fight and you are losing and when you do taxi then, that's lame.... dont start a fight then

I see it this way:
People liking DM: If they /taxi you have 10 more seconds to kill, better then it is now.
People liking RP: It's more RP'ish if you have to wait for your taxi.

maybe a random timer, between 7 and 25 seconds, so abuse would be harder then just 10 secs.
a message 'Your ride will arrive within 20 seconds' would do the job.
just an idea...

I can understand that there are other specific issues with these, however, I think changing too many aspects really will take away the RPG side of things. So therefore, if anything is changed, it will only be the taxi system. The fact that /dive had a three minute wait is good enough in my opinion.
