For something that runs ubuntu, its pretty appropriate.

Sure, if all you do is run games (aka: User)

For those of us that do other things with our systems and require every ounce of power and need access to everything so that we can fine tune the system for even more power, Unix is the way to go. (aka: power user/admin/h4x0r/grandma who doesnt game)

'Course, personally, i wouldnt use Ubuntu for a power system, this is just a goofy little project, so that's why i used it here, hahaha. Just oh so easy to get up and going. (easier than Windows too . . . )

I run Mac OSX, a Unix based OS and I can tell you for a fact that it's backbone is extremely stable, and the same probably goes for other unixes. Far more extensive and free. Windows is a people's OS, meaning it's easy to setup and nags the shit into you to make you do stuff such as install updates. Some need that, but for us power-users it's just slowing us down. :+

In the interest of not turning this into Windows vs Linus ( we all know Windows owns Linux ), ill just say

Windows owns Linux.. and the few things Linux can do better are unimportant.

Also, how do you play samp if u have OSX?
