I think I had either NFS Hot Persuit or High stakes, then got Porsche unleashed, which was completely different imo. Then I got MW, which had a stupid tuning system, and it sucked because you never ever had to buy a car, except for your first one, then I got Carbon, which had a better tuning system, and you actually had to buy a car a few times
EDIT: and then I got GRID and realized that's _way_ better

I only ever liked the two Hot Pursuits because...well...they just owned. Never been a car racing game fan.

YES, YES, and YES. This looks fantastic and not like the other garbage EA decided to throw at us after Hot Pursuit 2 (though I'll give them Most Wanted, that was decent). I'm actually hoping it's more of a remake than it is its own game (just an update with graphics and maybe a few more levels, etc.), as HP2 was just fantastic. In short, as long as I can "Be The Cop," we're all good.

Totally agreed with that statement.
Played several NFS when I was younger, but really got into it when I played Underground.
Underground 2 was great too. I disliked Most Wanted. Carbon was okay, and that's where I quit.
