Re: Video prob. - [W]TR1pin - 07-25-2009 I know that, lol. I mean 512mb vram is still pretty bad for IV. 1GB is usally what you should get. Re: Video prob. - Mike - 07-25-2009 Are you kidding me? Re: Video prob. - [W]TR1pin - 07-25-2009 Oh, 1GB vram is usually for high settings? Re: Video prob. - FarePak - 07-25-2009 newb, I have 512mb vram and I can run on high settings. Nope, resolution has almost nothing to do with memory usage. I benched it myself, Counter-Strike Source with 32x SSAA Anti-Aliasing. Memory Usage 640x480: 871MB Memory Usage 1280x1024: 876MB Memory Usage 1600x1200: 891MB Resolution doesnt really affect VRAM, its more the texture detail + anti aliasing Re: Video prob. - cloakster - 07-25-2009 (07-25-2009, 03:57 PM)Hitman link Wrote: Nope, resolution has almost nothing to do with memory usage. Yes, somehow CSS is a good benchmarking game..... And what program did you use for that? |
