Do PC games work on Mac OSX? Technically, no. But you can run either Windows via virtualization on Mac OSX (which would mean you'd have a window with Windows inside it), or you can alternatively turn to using WINE or such - not an emulator, but simply runs some of Windows' core files to run apps using it's own windowing system.
Alternatively to all of that you can simply dual-boot your Mac to have Windows and Mac OSX seperate to eachother.
