maybe it's possible to have some sort of /seatbelt command that makes you lose no (or less) health when you crash?

Ohhh, I like that idea there, Twilight. Maybe some cars could have airbags and stuff, and for the cars that don't, you could loose a lot of health. You could then have a warning that says there's no airbags (if the vehicle is not equipped) when the player enters.

so maybe you can purchase airbags with a command? this idea is pretty cool, just dont ever add a gas tank system please.

Nah such a system would be cool, just as long as you can get from A to B in LV without having to fill up. Just for the long distance RPers?
And don't you guys think that the airbag feature might be taking it a little bit too far? Would be cool, but possibly just annoying to type /seatbelt or /airbag every time you get into a car?
Maybe for cruises, but eh. We don't really aim to get crashes there.

actually i feel like we're going too far into the RP category with this feature, just imo. i mean lots of people mess around at LVP with cars, crashing into eachother etc. this might just get irritating.

But it wouldn't. You'd just lose some health, not lots.
This is a playground, lets mix some RP into the DMing however lets not take it too far.
