I've driven a S60 D5 (the 190hp version) and it's a very, very good car. Lots of power make a man happy

Negative.
I just don't like the status of a BMW. If there's a car about 1 inch away from your rear bumper at the motorway, it's always a BMW of a VW Golf. Although BMW makes very good cars, it's just the status and the people who drive them.

Even if you love the car, you wouldn't buy it because it's associated with bad drivers?

I can't say that I love the car. I know it's really good, but I prefer others. And it isn't that the drivers are bad, it's the status that the cars have. Every hasty office worker which drives a company car, drives a BMW and they always need to be faster then you. For example Mercedes (I don't like Mercedes cars, too comfy) doesn't have that bad attitude.

Well, i didnt meant Bimmer's....just any vehicle. I sorta agree with you, but i would just chose the car i like the best, regardless of its status.
And i agree with you about Mercedes....aside from the AMG cars, they are too much luxury and not enough sporty.
