Respect to Arsenal as they were the first team in the League to come to WHL and actually attack with intent to win the game from the very start. It was a great game, very exciting and nerve wracking but a draw was a fair result.

I've already said enough nice things about Arsenal but this was worth a mention, they are the first team to score more than 2 goals at WHL since 'Arry took charge and only the second team to score more than 1 this season.
It's pretty obvious teams come set up to frustrate us, with little ambition, which is why we don't concede many but we're having trouble breaking them down when really it's something we should be used to by now. 4 pts from the home games against the current top 4 as opposed to the 9 we gained last season is the difference between battling for second and struggling to get 4th.

Liverpool 5 - 0 Birmingham City
Maxi Rodrigues got 3 (woo), Kuyt got 1 (again!) and Joe Cole got the last one after he came on for Maxi.
Liverpool haven't beaten Birmingham in 7 years. Dalglish comes in and we get 5 goals, a hat trick from someone who hasn't got many for us yet, and from Joe Cole who has struggled more than we thought.
The youngsters did great again, young Flannagin as usual, Spearing, and Jonjo Shelvey for the brief time he had on the pitch.
And to make it better, Uncle Woy equalised against Spurs which helped close the gap to that European spot. And, although it's not as realistic and should be seen as a bonus, the 4th spot is still possible. I don't see us getting 4th, but stranger things have happened (such as fighting for Europe just after fighting to stay in the Premier League).
