Disgusting fucks hijack any tragedy and use it as an excuse to talk shit on atheism and spread their religious dogma.

Fox news is really fucked up indeed, they piss me off even more when they interview scientists like Michio Kaku and say stupid shit in front of them.

... and then you read about WBC's comments. Equally disgusting.

I weep for America.

My hate towards religion increases more and more everyday. Even more when I realized the fact that my dad has a surgery in his leg and is laying down in the hospital because he fell down once when he was "washing" for prayer, he slipped after he was in a hurry to not miss the prayer. Even when he's laying in bed after the surgery he still wanted to go up and wash for prayer.

I didn't know Christians had such fucked up minds.

Just if I had a time machine, to go back in time and kill the son of a bit.ch who started religion in the first place. Whether it be Mohammad or Jesus or a homeless idiot who invented it to find somewhere to go to, I'll kill him.

It's the source of all problems.

Re: [Serious Discussion] Religion - Maka - 12-18-2012

It's most likely true that humanity would have progressed way further if religion hadn't been around for this long. At least science and our knowledge of the universe as a whole would have. The problem at hand however, is people believing whatever the hell they are told. I mean c'mon, I was never forced into a religion at home, but in elementary school? You get these classes where you get taught about Christianity. Given, if your parents did not want you to be there, they could make sure you'd learn something else. Most of us back then however, just took these classes. So we "learnt" about certain stuff from the Old Testament and New Testament. We never spoke about religion at home. I didn't need the internet, or science or whatever, to realise religion is a fairytale. I used common freaking sense. That's why I don't understand how people just blindly follow it without questioning anything at all. I can't say I truly believed in anything, despite having been baptised and getting both communions. If I recall correctly, I was probably about 8 or 9 when I fully realised what utter crap organised religion feeds people.

I'm glad that my parents never mentioned a word about it. They most certainly did the right thing. It's even better when you realise they feel the exact same way like you, when reading or watching the news whenever any religion gets mentioned. That being said, I'm also happy I live in Europe, and not any other screwed up place. Even just looking at certain groups in the United States, I mean seriously? That's "the most powerful nation in the world"? I feel for every agnostic or atheist that resides there. What grosses me out even more is the way the media handles all of this.

IDmad: now it's 100 pages. Alcoholic beverages as gifts are totally welcome as a thank you!

Reading always helps too.

Must be awkward not learning all of this in school, but instead being told horror stories all day long.
