Re: [Serious Discussion] Religion - Bloodst3r - 12-09-2012 Sorry I don't have enough time to read or to reply to all of what's said as I'm on a 3G connection that is going down in a few, but this got my attention: (12-08-2012, 12:51 AM)Fuse link Wrote: People can behave without thinking of god, jeez If you think so, you really need to visit Egypt and similar countries. You have no idea how destructive people can get in here without religion. Even when it comes to work, According to our religion, Islam, hard and pure work is a must. I've seen a lot of people who work hard without cheating or scamming only for the sake of Islam. Discussing this is getting boring, it's obvious everyone wont change his mind and everyone is perfectly satisfied the way he is

Becasue you haven't freaking read them, how can you tell that you won't change your mind? -_____- So you're implying that Egyptians are like animals who can't hold themselves back from being savage and uncivilized without an imaginary magic man to tame them? They are poisoned at a young age and taught that they and society cannot function without religion. If they were brought up without religion- not necessarily antitheist, but simply atheist, then they wouldn't be subjected to the same levels of barbarism (see: Scandinavia). I'm not saying that the lack of religion is the only reason Scandinavia is so much more civilized, but religion does play a huge role in this barbarism. For example Scandinavia where the number of atheists of the population is between 50-80%. And the rest are either agnostic or really mildly religious. During the Arab Spring it was total chaos out there, I doubt religion was helping too much to keep it in control... oll:

People being divided into two or more groups making chaos in the country, just like Syria. Now in Syria there's not only the "Free Army" as they call it, but there are other groups that are not mentioned but are actually participating in the war, all because those people want an Islam-based government, and others don't. I believe that will make things much worse in Syria, but only time will tell. Also, is that "flat earth society" for real? O.o I have a feeling all those people are just trolling, or doing it for the lulz. Re: [Serious Discussion] Religion - Tuism - 12-10-2012 Haha I've stumbled upon that site once and it cracked the shit out of me. Take that, add a few billion people, and an unbelievably huge budget and media, you get religion. EDIT: THIS REPLY IS FUCKING HILARIUS XD Re: [Serious Discussion] Religion - KaBooM - 12-11-2012 The way that guy said "IS ANOTHER EARTH"... I read it in Homer Simpson's voice xD |
