Linux kicks ass too, but nothing compatible about it...
This whole OS battle reminds me of a film set in the futur:
Windows is the big corperation trying to take over the world, mac is second in command and Linux is the little company trying to stop them xD
Anyhow, I never had any crashed when I used ubuntu (which was maybe.. 4 days)
On my old computer I used to be gett the blue sod EVERY 2 minutes!

But it turned out that was because I had 2 different sticks of ram in my computer
(dont laugh Dx)Also, did you know, Vista scans your computer to see if you are ripping a dvd 5 times every second (nojoke).
It's like, the most secured OS windows have ever made.
I use XP tbh
So if you have a fake copy of Vista
I mean: if your copy of vista is not genuine
So you have to have a genuine copy of vista! Or they could pin you down like a... pinhead? (I couldnt think of anything else =[ )
Oh well come on... who's copy of windows is ever genuine x]

Well, WINE (Wine is not an emulator) runs alright on Linux I've heard, so it wouldn't be so in-compatible.
And viruses for Windows fail to work on WINE, even when trying to make it easy they all cock up, so that's another advantage.
However, I don't agree that Apple seem to look more like a corporation more than a friendly company these days, but I still trust them and such and see them as the same Apple they were 10 years ago, just doing well for themselves.
Windows has lost the battle imo, people are downgrading from Vista (even Dell? lmao) and companies are even starting to use Ubuntu.

you can play samp whit vista,but its rly crappy cuz you crash alot..and pc get stuck etc..
and then you close samp vindow it crash like 50 vindow down screen lol..
thats why i formated and have xp
nothing happens and works fine like before then i have other pc

Go buy a Mac, dual boot XP through Boot Camp, and you get the best of both worlds. You don't have to deal with compatibility issues and you get a great OS and an OS that has a lot of games for it.
