Which one is true? the only one Quran that has strong, very strong restrictions to be passed over? or the ~70 Bibles that people edit according to their current language then claim they are "miracles" of God. I took some of the miracles of the bible and compared them to Quran: Roundness of the earth: [Isaiah:40:22]He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth... [Quran:79:30]better see video : Miracles of the Qur'an,THE EARTH'S GEOID SHAPE."Do they not consider the Qurán (with care)? Had it been from other than Allah, they would surely have found t... The universe is expanding continuously: [Isaiah:55 ] For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.[Quran:47:51]And the heavens, we built them with might and we are (it's) expander. Law of conservation of mass and energy: [2 Peter:3:7] But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store. [Quran:54:49]Verily, all things have We created in proportion and measure. [Quran:13:8]Every single thing is before His sight, in (due) proportion. enough? Re: [Serious Discussion] Religion - [SAE]Grim - 06-24-2011 I took some of the miracles of science and compared them with Quran and Bible Wich one is true? [Quran:79:30]better see video : Miracles of the Qur'an,THE EARTH'S GEOID SHAPE."Do they not consider the Qurán (with care)? Had it been from other than Allah, they would surely have found t... The concept of a spherical Earth dates back to ancient Greek philosophy from around the 6th century BC, but remained a matter of philosophical speculation until the 3rd century BC when Hellenistic astronomy established the spherical shape of the earth as a physical given The earliest evidence of a spherical Earth comes from ancient Greek sources Aristotle (384–322 BC); Aristotle provided physical and observational arguments supporting the idea of a spherical Earth: Every portion of the Earth tends toward the center until by compression and convergence they form a sphere. (De caelo, 297a9–21) Travelers going south see southern constellations rise higher above the horizon; and The shadow of Earth on the Moon during a lunar eclipse is round. (De caelo, 297b31–298a10) And it goes on and on with other people from that age The universe is expanding continuously: [Isaiah:55 ] For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.[Quran:47:51]And the heavens, we built them with might and we are (it's) expander. The ancient Greeks recognized that it was difficult to imagine what an infinite universe might look like. But they also wondered that if the universe were finite, and you stuck out your hand at the edge, where would your hand go? The Greeks' two problems with the universe represented a paradox - the universe had to be either finite or infinite, and both alternatives presented problems. (This obviously doesnt show how the universe is expanding, but neither are those two lines from the bible and quran. It simply shows that these books werent the first to "mention" it) Law of conservation of mass and energy: [2 Peter:3:7] But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store. [Quran:54:49]Verily, all things have We created in proportion and measure. [Quran:13:8]Every single thing is before His sight, in (due) proportion. This is nothing but dumbass interpretation. "Verily, all things have We created in proportion and measure." has nothing to do with the universe http://theheartopener.wordpress.com/sins/41-disbelieving-in-destiny-qadar/ "But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store." This can be interprated in so many ways you have no fucking idea. The law of conservation of energy sounds as follows: (Simply put) The total amount of energy in a system remains constant over time. Energy can neither be created nor destroyed: it can only be transformed from one state to another. The only thing that can happen to energy in a system is that it can change form: for instance chemical energy can become kinetic energy. Ancient philosophers as far back as Thales of Miletus had inklings of the conservation of which everything is made Even back then. enough? All the wrong interpretions in Bible and Quran can most likely be tracked back to where that interpretated idea came from; Ancient Greek and ancient philosophy. Re: [Serious Discussion] Religion - Tuism - 06-24-2011 As I said... Quran or Bible? |
